Public Education

Through tours of wildlife displays and physical interactions with wildlife ambassadors ROAR seeks to educate the public on local biodiversity from terrestrial, wetland and marine habitats, their contribution to the ecosystem and human livelihood as we begin to explore issues affecting local biodiversity including the illegal pet trade, habitat loss and pollution. In these programmes we explore their impact and their importance in promoting a healthy planet Earth, our home. 

ROAR hopes that personal experiences from these program can excite persons to be part of innovation and change to solve climate variability and biodiversity loss challenges while fostering national pride.

World Wildlife Day 2022

In partnership with Forestry Division, ROAR invited the Foundation for Heritage Preservation and Legacy Creation to partner with us to facilitate a booth at The Ministry of Agriculture,Land and Fisheries World Wildlife Day Celebrations.

World Animal Day 2022

In Partnership with National Library and Information System Authority, ROAR hosted a 7 day education program at the National Library.

Engaging with children helps them understand how science class relates to the real world. 

World Wildlife Day 2021

In partnership with the Member of Parliament for Chaguanas East, Vandana Mohit, ROAR facilitated a education display at the Cunupia Market.
